Jamie's Thoughts: I took this mascara on a trip to Florida during which I knew I was going to be swimming, sweating, potentially getting splashed by large, oceanic mammals, etc., and thought it would make the perfect testing environment. And it would have, if I could have stood to wear it the entire time.

While it makes good on the claim of being waterproof, I saw no visible "precise lash separation," nor did I feel as if it went on evenly or "hugged" my lashes. Instead, it was thick and sticky, tugged at my lashes, and after a long day, felt rubbery to the touch. As with many waterproof mascaras, I really had to yank at it with makeup remover at the end of the day to get all of it off my eyes.

Beware if you're someone who unconsciously rubs or touches their eyes throughout the day - my lashes were still oddly tacky midday, and when I went to itch my eye, I brushed some lashes together and they got stuck. I had to take a paper clip from my desk and separate them manually. Not ideal.

If all you want is a die-hard-won't-budge-in-moist-conditions mascara (and don't mind some of the possible downsides), then this is for you. Alas, it is not for me.
