What Lisa says: After my last experience with a Physician's Formula Bronzer I half expected not to like this one but approached with an open mind and was glad I did. The color I received was Sunny Buddy and I've really enjoyed it! A light hand is key to this product application to add just the right amount of warmth and gorgeous shimmer - too much and it goes from a wash of shimmering warmth to ORANGE. This is perfect for medium to dark warm and olive tones. Did I say the shimmer in this is great? Well I can't say it enough. I can see myself using this bronzer the rest of September and well into fall and winter. Nice product!

NY Fashion Week: "Fresh Out of the Water" at Herve Leger by Max Azria

The inspiration for the look at Herve Leger by Max Azria was the girls from the Bond movies. The make-up artist wanted to highlight beautiful skin with honed bones. The focus of the look? A wet eye, which they achieved with MAC gold Pigment. The eye was outlined with MAC Technakohl Eyeliner in Photogravure to give it an additional punch along with a nice coat of MAC Plushlash. To give additional focus to the eyes, the artist used a "chalky" lip. Beyond a simple nude, it was a pale, pale matte pink that had the effect of erasing the lips from the model's face.

The result was a simple, sophisticated look that is pretty and wearable for those with warmer skin tones. If you've got blue undertones, you can still achieve the look, but I would recommend a little more color on the lips to avoid looking frostbitten.
