This sheer, elegant lip color feels as good as it looks. The advanced formula contains moisturizing emollients and vitamin E to instantly soften and hydrate, while SPF 20 guards against sun damage. A unique cooling sensation soothes on contact. "
Jen's Experience: I've been spoiled recently by all the great glosses from M.A.C. that I've been testing. But despite that, I've had a pretty good experience testing these new lip balms from Neutrogena. I think the colors, which, although sheer, produce enough color to stand on their own. I disagree, though, with the whole moisturizing element to the product. I have had an ongoing bout with chapped lips these last few weeks, and not only have these balms not helped, they seem to make the problem a little worse. The colors are pretty and very wearable, though, so unless your lips are parched like mine, these aren't a bad choice.

I liked these enough to buy several earlier in the summer, and I've worn them almost exclusively for months. But in the last few weeks, my lips have become very sore, reddened, and sensitive. I had started wearing nothing on my lips but Aquaphor, amd dug out a Lipsheer to wear to work recently, after not wearing one for several weeks. My lips immediately became chapped and swollen. I can't help thinking the Lipsheers have turned on me! My skin is really sensitive anyway, and several cheap lipliners have caused breakouts at the lip line, but I really thought a Neutrogena product would be ok, esp. since it worked for a while. Just sharing my experience.
I like this, but I only use it for the SPF, because I walk outdoors a lot, and if I put sunscreen on my face everyday, why should my lips get neglected? but I know what you mean - this isnt for chapped lips. I didnt find it drying, but its definitely not chapstick, like they claim. I like the hint of color it has though. and I love the silver tube.
I use the Neutrogena LipSheer in "Clean" frequently. It does tend to dry me out and I have to reapply, but only because I think it's got some minty-flavor thing going on. It always makes my lips a bit tingly.
