Melissa's DeLush Downlow: I wasn't surprised that this looked amazing as a shadow, both wet and dry. It's incredibly fine and very smooth. What I didn't expect was how subtly it highlighted my cheekbones when smoothed on lightly with my fingertip or how pretty it looked under clear lipgloss as a sheer wash of color. (Of course, there are a few shades you wouldn't want to use on your lips!) Keep in mind that used this way, you may find it less long-wearing than some lip colors. I'm sure this can vary depending on the type of gloss you use. On eyes it wears fairly well, but isn't completely crease-resistant.
