Review: NEW Sally Hansen Salon Nail Lacquer

sally-lacquer.jpgWhat They Say: "Toluene-free, DPB-free and free from added formaldehyde, and delivering the ultimate shine and color of a long-lasting professional manicure. Patented formula builds stronger nails with keratin and minerals, and contains natural marine pearl, conditioning rice bran and marine botanicals. Custom bottle with comfort-grip cap and exclusive brush assure the smoothest, flawless application. 24 shades bring runway color to a mass audience - colors that appeal to a wide range of women and lifestyles."

Melissa's DeLush Downlow: This new formula from Sally Hansen delivered nice enough shine, but I felt like it didn't apply as smoothly as it could have and was more prone to brush marks than some of their other colors. It did stay on well, without showing chipping or wearoff on the tips for about 3-4 days. An acceptable nail color, though not my favorite. But if you're very sensitive to chemical smells in many polishes, this could be an additional option for you.

Retail Price: app. $7.00 (at drugstores and superstores)
