Review: Comodynes Beauty-Flash, Radiant Effect

What They Say: "Immediate beauty spray with lifting effect. With firming and toning plant extracts.

Shock treatment for improving tone and smoothing features in record time. Ideal for use in case of jet-lag, lack of sleep, and before make-up. It clears signs of tiredness and provides smooth and bright skin within 1 minute.

Make-up stays perfect for up to 8 hours."

Jen's Experience: I seem to have a problem where make-up that I put on before I go to work sometimes seems to disappear as the day wears on, and given that I rarely manage a full 8 hours of sleep, I'd say I'm a pretty good candidate for this product. I've been using it everytime I apply make-up for about a week, and while I've noticed some improvement in how long my make-up lasts, I've found it to be inconsistent. Here are some of my observations:

1- One spray really isn't enough. I like to go for 3 at a minimum. It dries instantly, anyway, and it seems to help the effects.

2- Use it underneath your make-up, but on top of your moisturizer. Be sure your moisturizer has fully soaked in of course. Perhaps my moisturizers are thicker than what they expected, but their instruction to use on a clean face didn't work at all for me.

3- Applying a couple of sprays on top of my make-up also seems to do a good job of setting it, and also is the only way you'll see that radiant effect they spoke of.

I think the product packaging is nifty; the three little spray bottles mean you can put one in your bathroom, one in your desk at work and one in your purse. But do they work? Not as well as I would have liked, but enough that I think they're worth experimenting with.
