Fall Product Review: Sue Devitt Transitional Gel To Powder Blush

suedevittgeltopowder.jpgWhat They Say: "What it is: A long lasting, gel-to-powder blush with a hint of subtle highlights.

What it is formulated to do: Glide over the cheeks for a sheer, natural, sun-kissed sheen.

To use: Dab onto the apples of your cheeks with fingertips and blend back along the cheekbones."

Melissa's DeLush Downlow: The first thing I really like about this is the built-in mirror in the small-ish (think a little bigger than a silver dollar) compact. This is really handy, and I always love products that have their own mirrors included because that makes them TRULY something you can toss in your purse and use on the go.

The blush itself (currently only in this bronze shade, Northern Cape) looks a little orange-gold (well, a lot) in the compact. However, the color blends very sheer and creates a natural-looking glow on your cheeks. Personally, I would probably use a dab or two of this over my regular blush for a bit of barely-there sheen. I did feel like it wore off a little if I happened to rub it in a bit too much when applying. But the color and texture are natural and pretty.

Retail Price: $20.00 (at sephora.com)
