I thought we should end our week about lip balm with another true winner in the category. This new balm by LUSH has been a pleasant surprise!
And, dear gorgeous readers, DeLush is going to be undergoing some changes in the next week or two. We're going to be easier to search, include a ton of new categories, and tackle even more of your beauty questions - all the while continuing to bring you the most straightforward, FUN, and relevant beauty product reviews you can find online!

What They Say: "In the world of international espionage, a honey trap was a beautiful woman sent to seduce a spy and tease his state secrets from him using every means at her disposal. James Bond seems to encounter at least one in almost every film. In the Lush world, Honey Trap is a gorgeously tasty, white chocolate balm, sent to tease your lips into a soft, sensual state, capable of seducing anyone they touch. Our Honey Trap hides secrets like nutritious wheatgerm oil and soothing oatmilk infusion behind its honey and wild orange flavour."
Melissa's DeLush Downlow: Okay, first off - don't let the phrase "white chocolate" throw you. While there's a touch of that, the honey and orange work with it to balance each other out into a slightly sweet flavor. And the soothing honey is the predominant scent out of the ingredients. Also, don't let the idea of the honey fool you into thinking this balm is at all sticky.
When I first opened the tin, I saw a sort of hard-looking circle of balm sitting inside, and I got a little nervous. I wasn't too sure how that could possibly feel good on my lips. But the initial impression was deceiving, because once your body heat comes in contact with the balm through swirling your finger on the product and applying it to your lips, it truly becomes one of the softest balms I've ever tried. It's incredibly comfortable, and lasts quite a while.
This is absolutely going on my list of favorites.

i love you blog! hope you don't mind but i have blog rolled you. thanks!
i've been looking for a honey balm (that doesn't taste of anything but honey) ever since I tried the Body Shop's discontinued line.
i would kill for them to bring the Honey line back. it was addictive.
i was tempted to try this until i realized that it isn't pure honey. sigh.
Marie B., I have used this and it tastes like honey. Just like orange blossom honey in the little bear squeeze bottle! I don't think you'll be disappointed if you try it.
yes, maria, i pretty much thought it was all honey at first, too! i had to go try it on again after i read the ingredient list and then, finally, i could taste/smell the other components...but honey is DEFINITELY the major factor here!
which is fine with me! it tastes GREAT!
i'll definitely have to try it then.
thanks, both of you. : )
I love lush, the honey soap is wonderful too, every time I use it I have the urge to lick it...yummmmm
