NEW Maybelline Define-a-Lash Volume Mascara
* Patented shaped-to-the-lash brush
* Ophthalmologist tested, Contact lens safe
* Washable"
Melissa Says: In comparison to my experience with several Maybelline mascaras, this one was a disappointment. I actually thought this did clump a bit, but more of a concern was how it tended to separate my lashes into puny-looking spaced-apart pieces, actually doing the opposite of giving me more volume. True, some of the individual lashes looked thicker, but I didn't get the wall of luscious lashes that I have come to expect from many of the volume-boosting mascara formulas that do just that. And my lashes felt a bit brittle once the product dried, too.

Artistry Waterproof Mascara 200
What They Say: "Create lush, perfectly defined lashes with these long-wearing mascaras that measurably lengthen and thicken lashes up to 200%. Ophthalmologist tested and recommended for contact lens wearers. Waterproof formula is oil-based and resists water and flaking."
Jen's Experience: I am always on the lookout to find a good mascara, and have found only a couple in the past that I am able to wear on a regular basis without looking like a football player within hours. I tried both the black and brown versions of the Artistry Mascara, and found both colors to be nicely glossy and pigment rich. The brown actually was noticeable, and I don't find that with too many brown mascaras. As for being waterproof and non-flaking...well, these mascaras are definitely better than many that I've tried, but I still experienced some flaking and some color slipping, especially when I'm at work in front of a monitor all day. Out shopping or running errands, it's behaved pretty well, but I am still not terribly inclined to wear it because it just doesn't provide any real drama for my lashes. No lengthening, no curl, no thickening. Just color. At one point I would have settled for that, but now that I know there are one or two mascaras out there that can do it all, this product isn't making it into my make-up routine.

Victoria's Secret Very Voluptuous Extreme Volume Mascara
What They Say: "For lush, unbelievably thick, eye-opening lashes. This ultimate volumizing mascara combines an extreme volume brush and conditioning formula to define and lengthen while creating ultra-voluminous, clump-free lashes in one sweep."
Alissa's Opinion: I liked this mascara, but it didn't do anything amazing with my lashes as far as volume goes. There was nothing "extreme" about it even with a second or third coat. The short wand and full brush were easy to handle and didn't hold too much product. Although the formula was good for creating smooth and clump-free eyelashes, I found that my curl did not last as long as usual.

M·A·C Mascara X
Melissa Says: Aha - another fantastic mascara found! Part of the M·A·C Originals Collection (a grouping of the products that have stood the "test of time"), this formula goes on without clumping, creating nice separation and fullness with the heavily-bristled brush. I've been incredibly pleased with the clean look yet moderate amount of drama that can be produced with only a couple of coats. Also, I noticed no flaking or smudging, either. This one gets a definite seal of approval from me. If you want some fullness, length, and separation in a non-clumping and mess-free formula, give this one a try.

Billion Dollar Brows Forever Lash
What They Say: "Forever Lash can be worn day and night to promote beautiful, healthy lashes. Apply Forever Lash underneath mascara to provide a strong, long lasting base that will keep your eyelashes looking fresh all day.
To condition and strengthen your lashes while you sleep, apply Forever Lash at night. Forever Lash's blend of vitamins and proteins nourishes the root of your lashes - resulting in healthier, stronger lashes."
Jen's Experience: At the outset, I didn't have a lot of faith that adding this product to my beauty routine would produce a substantial enough effect to the worth the additional effort, but over time, I would say I've definitely say my appreciation for it has grown. I find that I don't really use it so much at night, but in the daytime, it makes an excellent base to my long-wear mascaras. It doesn't seem to affect the wear, but it does seem to add to the thickness of my lashes. After wearing this for a while, I would say that I've noticed a slight but not really outstanding improvement in the look of my lashes without the addition of mascara. Those who like to keep their routine simple may not find it worth the trouble. If the look of your lashes is worth it to you, I think the reasonable price of this product really makes it a worthwhile addition to your beauty routine.

Jen's Experience: This gift set from Tarte contains four great Tarte products in a tiny, purse friendly cosmetics bag. The Inside Out lip gloss has long been one of my absolute favorite glosses, and the new color in this set is one of the prettiest yet. The mascara, while it doesn't have the staying power of some of my others, applies without clumping and really creates so nice volume and curling action.
The creaseless eyeshadow was a definite surprise in the pack. The duo contains two colors: one in a slate color, the other in more of a bronze. The slate color is a cream eyeshadow that applies so smoothly and with such rich color, you'd think it would have to crease. (It doesn't.) The bronze has a rollerball applicator, and while the color isn't as rich as the other, it's very pretty and like the slate, it doesn't crease. Both shades were really long-lasting and didn't smudge throughout the day.
I am not as sure about how well the face primer works. I have used it several times underneath my foundation, and while I think the foundation applies more evenly, I don't really find that it's particularly moisturizing or soothing.

Review: M.A.C. PlushLash Mascara
What They Say: "A mascara formulated to instantly plump up lashes for extreme voluptuous effect. Works fast. Builds volume smoothly and evenly from root to tip. Delivers a silky, flexible, full fan of lashes. Fluid formula lightly coats lashes one layer at a time without smearing, smudging or clumping. Goes on via an innovative, specially patented wand with a v-shaped groove that prunes the bristles on one side while leaving the other side full and lush. The short bristles coax the lashes upward to an extraordinarily sophisticated yet flirtatious curl, while the other side separates and combs the lashes root-to-tip creating a long, well-defined glamour lash. Volumizing, lengthening, curling, lifting. This mascara features everything you want, with all the top mascara no's: no clumping, spiking, smudging or flaking. "
Jen's Experience: I have tremendous trouble finding the right mascara, and in general I only have one criteria: it needs to stay on my lashes. Well, the M.A.C. folks were definitely on the mark when they said "no clumping, spiking, smudging or flaking". This mascara really does a remarkable job staying put and for that it earns it's place in my make-up drawer. On the other hand, I was not impressed with the dramatic effect created by this mascara. Perhaps it was just that I tested it in their brown shade, Brownette, and not in the black that I would normally wear, but I really couldn't tell much of a difference between using this mascara and my natural lashes. Normally, I'd just be excited that I had a mascara that actually didn't end up underneath my eyes, so I can't really complain too much. Overall, this is a great mascara (at a great price!) that really does what it claims.

Picture Perfect Eyelash Curler
- Breakthrough ergonomic design - no finger holes makes it easy to use.
- Curved angle suits all eye shapes without pinching or crimping.
Alissa's Opinion: I'm a total sucker for lash products and all things purple, so I was really excited to rip this set open and give it a try. The cute faux snakeskin and leather cases look like no other product on the market.
I started with the eyelash curler. It was easy to grip and gave me a nice round curl with no bends or kinks. Next up was the Exhilarator, which deposited a lot of gunk on my perfectly flipped lashes. I combed through the goop when it dried so I could get an even coat of mascara, but I ended up with dry white flakes on my face. After cleaning up that mess I applied the 4-in-1 Mascara and found that the end result was beautiful. The brush is full and holds a lot of product, so I wiped it of before applying. It gave me long, thick eyelashes that stayed curled all day.
I also tried the Exhilarator as a mid-day mascara reviver but found that it just gave me spider eyes again. I will continue to use the mascara, but that other little tube is gone. It might be useful if you are looking for a nighttime lash conditioner.

Review: Revlon 3-D Extreme Mascara
What They Say: "Get the extreme lash makeover with 3D Extreme™ Mascara! It creates dramatic lashes with extreme fullness, curl and length - 25X fuller, 70% curvier and 80% visibly longer lashes. The Exclusive Bold Impact™ Brush is tapered to lift, amplify and separate even the tiniest lashes. The patented lightweight gel formula with intense color pigments delivers bold lash look in one step - no primer needed! No caking or flaking. Available in 3 shades. Also available in Waterproof."
Melissa Says: You guys know by now that we've tested out a lot of different products here at DeLush. Mascara is one of those things that you can pretty much tell the very first day of use whether or not you're going to really love or hate it. Well, I've been using this one for about three weeks now, and I have to be honest and say that I do love it.
The brush definitely creates length and decent volume with a slight eye-opening effect (curling), and that weird shape at the end of it is great at getting those little corner lashes as well. One application plus a few extra swipes and I'm completely happy with the fullness and emphasis. Coming from a gal who likes to apply two to three coats as a general rule, that is saying a lot.
Seeing a couple of comments on drugstore.com about having problems with clumps sort of threw me off a bit, because I hadn't noticed that (I thought possibly because my tube was so new and none of the product had dried out near the opening, which often is what sticks to the wand when you do have clumps). I did pay attention to that later though, and for me, this creates a very clean but full look, and honestly the only time I notice an extra bit of product on the lashes it was very minimal and easily dabbed off lightly with my fingertip. I don't know...I do have a specific technique for applying mascara (I definitely do the entire length of the lashes and not just tips, and tend to twist the brush slightly as I swipe through the lashes), so maybe that has something to do with why I didn't encounter clumping issues that would deter me from picking that wand up again. I also think there's much greater chance of getting clumps when you try to apply over dried formula, so just do all your coats at once.
I didn't even use the waterproof version, and there were no smudges at all after wearing it all day, even when I was outdoors during a very hot and humid vacation - it stayed on better than my long-wear eyeliner did!
Based on my experience, this did pretty much what they said, and I LIKE it!

Review: Just For Redheads Studio Mascara In Ginger Brown
What They Say: "JFR Studio Mascara also offers infinite shading possibilities. Many JFR customers use two shades to fine tune the exact look they need for certain occasions. For a more detailed look, apply a lighter shade on the base of the lash, and a darker shade on the tips. Now redheads have more options than anyone else! Selected for 2007 Miss Universe Pageant!
Enriched with Panthenol to condition your lashes every time you apply, and Vitamin E to add suppleness. Maximize coverage with JFR's high def brush. Smudgeproof and water resistant formulation removes with soap and water."
Jamie’s Thoughts: The online testimonials for this product border, as you might expect, on the religious. I was dubious that any product could be a “fantastic,” or “life-changing” as they claim. As it turns out, the product is a happy compromise between the addictive and the indifferent – I personally really like it. The consistency is workable (almost no clumping), and I love the fuller application brush. The range of colors is impressive, and if I needed to create a custom color for myself, I could definitely do it with what they have to offer.
One minor complaint? The formula does indeed remove easily with soap and water…it removes itself right to the undereye area, where it lasts and lasts. (Smudgeproof, my eye! Get it? My eye! Oh, never mind.) You’ll need an eye-friendly makeup remover for this product, but in my opinion, it’s worth it.

Review: Just For Redheads Mascara Ultresse In Ginger Henna
What They Say: "Our high-tech formula is fiber free and will not irritate your sensitive eyes. Natural emollients not only thicken and lengthen, but actually condition and nourish your lashes every time you apply. Apply before your favorite JFR mascara and viola! Thicker, healthier lashes are now yours without irritation."
Jamie’s Thoughts: First off, I have to give a BIG thumbs up to JFR for their fiber-free formula. I don’t have sensitive eyes, but I do find fiberous lengthening mascaras really, really, ridiculously irritating. This particular color did not make much of a visual splash on my complexion (a shade too light, I think), but would be more than enough for someone fairer than myself. The brush is long and substantial, awesome for quick and complete coverage in one swipe, if need be.
Per JFR’s suggestion, I took a couple days to try layering this with another mascara. In the end, it was too much for my eyes to take. My lids felt heavy, and anyways, is this a primer, or a mascara? I don’t know. I think it holds its own as a mascara, but don’t know if the whole combo thing is right for everyone.
Another cool detail of the JFR mascaras (including the studio line) is the clarifying brush on the end of the mascara wand. So, if you’re really detail oriented like I am (also see: extremely particular), then you’ll love having a strong-bristled brush at the ready for those post-mascara final touches.

Review: Clinique High Impact Mascara
What They Say: "Kicks up the volume and length of each and every lash for a look that's lusher, plusher, bolder. Pure, deep colour only adds to the impact. Wear it once and you'll feel naked without it."
Jen's Experience: I've got a couple of really great mascaras in my arsenal right now, but sadly, this isn't one of them. I thought the staying power wasn't too bad, certainly nothing like Blinc's mascara, but a lot better than others I've tried. However, I was utterly unimpressed with the volumizing (zip), lengthening (zilch), or even the deep color (nada). I tried coat upon coat, but it did little more than a lash tint, only with less tint. Looking for something subtle? This may be a good choice, but otherwise, there are lots of better options out there.

Review: LORAC Publicity Stunt Lashes
What They Say: "LORAC's new breakthrough mascara pulls a publicity stunt … unbelievably gorgeous lashes that last! This revolutionary mascara creates long, lush lashes that are gym-proof, cry-proof and red carpet beauty-proof!
Its ultra lightweight formula is loaded with natural ingredients that create a long wearing, innovative new technology, allowing you to take a break from re-applying your mascara every day without it smudging, budging, or flaking. Get the celebrities' red carpet secret to flawless, long luxurious lashes that last and last!"
What Melissa Says: Now, I'm one that doesn't so much mind a little next-day smudge when I am lazy and don't take off my mascara at night. I usually just use it to my advantage and add a bit of eyeliner for an easy dark-lined look that next day. But even I get annoyed when I get smudging during the daily wear, and this addition to long-wear mascaras from LORAC stayed put remarkably well.
Unlike some long-wear mascaras we've tested recently, this one did not flake and looked clean well into the end of the second day of use (it's suggested that you can easily wear this for up to three days, but can remove prior to that if you desire with makeup remover or soap and water). Even then, flaking was minimal through day three.
This mascara creates length and great separation, though I did find the lash comb handy when applying multiple coats, as the formula begins to set quickly and can create very minimal clumps on ends of lashes. The lash separator comb took care of those wonderfully.
I suppose my major gripe is the volume factor. I like my lashes to look really lush, and even though they suggest that two coats may be desirable for some, I actually felt the need for three to achieve the thickness I wanted. I also didn't think this provided any curl, though it didn't promise me that, so I can't really complain. With each layer, the potential for clumps increases as you need to move quickly, but as long as you get the timing down, your lashes will look fresh, well-defined and smudge-free for at least two days.

Review: LORAC Waterproof Lashes
What They Say: "This no budge, no smudge, rich, creamy, waterproof mascara dries quickly and curls lashes like never before. The custom brush lengthens and separates each lash instantly, for longer, fuller lashes that stay put. "
Jen's Experience: I am really picky about mascaras. I want them to apply evenly, without clumping. To actually last throughout the day. And a nice bonus is enough volume to actually give a little drama. Unfortunately, this mascara fails on two counts. It applies okay, so checkmark for that one. But when I leave the house and go about my business, both out running errands and working, I find that it doesn't last through the day. It flakes off almost immediately, into the finest black dust that settles under my eyes. It doesn't even depend on how much I use, one coat or three. I would try putting my Blinc Kiss Me Mascara over top to bind it to my lashes, but it doesn't really produce enough volume to be worth the effort. In short, this is one of the least effective mascaras I've used.

Double Review: Too Faced Lash Injection
What They Say: "Have you ever wished you could plump up and stretch out your lashes like a Hollywood Plastic Surgeon can do to a Movie Star's lips with an injection? From the "Fantastic Plastics" Lab of TOO FACED cosmetics comes LASH INJECTION; lash extensions in a tube! Our exclusive 3D formula actually builds tubes around each lash. Unique elastic polymers curl fatten and stretch far beyond the natural lash to add extreme volume curl and length for that costly lash extension look without any of the hassle or pain! With a flick of our specially-designed "GIANT" wand lashes will be injected with indelible weather-proof color. Easily removable with soap and warm water or eye make-up remover this amazing mascara doesn't dissolve and smudge like any ordinary mascara LASH INJECTION comes off in tiny tubes like little socks! Incredible! Innovative! Glamorous! Of course, we're TOO FACED!"
Jen's Experience: Historically, there have been very few mascaras in the world that I feel confident wearing on a daily basis (well, actually, only one -- Blinc Kiss Me) because of the eye irritation and subsequent smudging that I usually get from mascaras. And while I still sing the praises of the Blinc mascara, this one from Too Faced not only has the same staying power, but it may actually work even better. One of the main reasons I keep trying other mascaras despite the fact that I finally found one that would stay put all day is that I was looking for one that would give me more dramatic lashes rather than just coating them with color. The truly giant wand on this mascara does the trick, and with enough layers I almost look like I'm wearing falsies. The other reason that I like this one is that I can apply a coat or two in the morning before work and then apply some more before going out in the evening. Blinc makes my eyelashes too stiff to apply any more once it's dried. When I'm putting on my make-up each morning, putting on Lash Injection is such an easy choice. It may just be my Perfect Mascara.
Melissa Says: I was not prepared for the sheer size of the brush inside this tube. They're right - it is GIANT, but combined with this mascara formula, I get amazingly lush lashes with a bit of separation and...no clumps! Also, just as they say, there is absolutely NO smudging. It creates drama in one swipe, but if you really want to apply two coats, do it quickly and don't wait for it to dry in between or you just might get some globs. I truly love the pretty, glamorous look of this mascara, and mostly the look lasts all day. But as someone who tends to not always remove my mascara fully at night (bad!), I will tell you that this starts to come off a little bit at the very end of the night in tiny little flecks that can get into your eyes and irritate them, especially if you're a contact lens wearer. So just be smart and safe and remove this with soap and water or eye makeup remover before it gets to that point. I have a new favorite to add to the mascara group - I love this stuff.

Review: Dior Diorshow Unlimited Mascara
What it is:
An extremely flexible lengthening and curling mascara.
What it is formulated to do:
Flash your lashes! Unlimited Mascara's ultra-stretch texture lengthens and curves as the extra-fix formula adds suppleness and staying power. The double-sided brush provides professional application for glamorous, backstage effects that are - unlimited.
Jen's Experience: As many of you know, I've been looking for the perfect mascara for a long time. So far, I've only found two that I wear on a regular basis: Blinc Kiss Me Mascara and Shu Uemura Fiber Extension Mascara. And now with this new Dior Mascara, I'm going to have to extend it to three.
While this mascara is not perfect, it's one of the most dramatic mascaras that I've ever tried that does a reasonable job of staying on my lashes. It does a good job of bulking up my lashes and lengthening them. I can put on layer after layer without any flaking, but the lashes do seem to clump a little, which is easily remedied by running a lash comb through them when I'm done. The curling action isn't as pronounced as it is with the Estee Lauder mascara I tried last month, but it is there; you can see it especially at the corners of my eyes. I do find that I get a small amount of color under my eyes when I wear this, but it's so minimal that I feel comfortable wearing it to work.
For those of you looking for a dramatic mascara like BeneFit Bad Gal or Urban Decay Skyscraper but that doesn't end up all under your eyes at the end of the night, this is definitely a good choice!
Tip: If you already use Kiss Me Mascara but would like something a little more dramatic for night, try putting this on underneath the Kiss Me Mascara. You'll get fantastically long lashes that stay looking great all night long.

Fall Product Review: Estee Lauder Illusionist Intense Maximum Curling Mascara
What They Say: "Seductive curves.
Now, power shape your lashes with up to 160% more curl.
Advanced aerodynamic gel formula with innovative curling polymers gives lashes weightless, seductive curves, without stiffness or flaking.
New pigment technology creates intense black impact shades that absorb light and surround your eyes in the beauty of deep, rich color.
Fragrance free. Ophthalmologist-tested."
Jen's Experience: I am, admittedly, extremely picky when it comes to mascara. My eyes are always dry, so I rub them a lot, and then it's all smudged under my eyes or flaky or both. I was anxious to try this one because I've been so focused on finding a mascara that doesn't make me look like a football player that I've not yet gotten a chance to try a more fun mascara, such as this one that curls lashes in addition to the coat of color.
The mascara did indeed produce a curling effect on my lashes that I thought was very noticeable, especially around the outer edges of my eyes. I didn't find it very easy to coat all of my lashes. The brush is very basic and while it didn't clump despite all the layers I applied, I felt that I needed to keep inventory of which lashes I had already covered. When I first started using the mascara, I applied only one or two coats, and didn't find that it deposited enough color to give the effect I was hoping for. Unfortunately, when I started adding additional layers, I started seeing the dreaded football player effect.
I like this mascara for its pretty curling effect and because it never seems to flake, but I wish it produced more volume or length, or even just some dark, shiny black color. This is one I may try in combination with other mascaras to see if I can achieve a more dramatic lash along with the maximum curls provided by this mascara.

Fall Product Review: Lulu Lash Cream (in Pillow Talk)
What They Say: "Lusciously long lashes are obtained clump free with Lulu Beauty Lash Crème. Lulu Beauty creates what every glamour girl craves: a long lasting, smudge-free mascara. Lash Crèmes separate every individual last with a full lash wand, leaving lashes perfectly defined and dangerously curved. The mascara is available in two shades. Belle du Jour is a deep black, which creates a dramatic effect. For a softer, more subtle look Lulu Beauty has created Pillow Talk, a creamy brown hue. Lash Crème allows girls to bat their eyes without abandonment."
Jamie’s Thoughts:
Softer and more subtle? Check!
Perfectly defined? Check!
Dangerously curved? Umm, not so much.
Creamy brown hue? Check! An actual, true brown! Love it!
Long lasting? Check!
Smudge-Free? Unfortunately not.
Lulu Beauty had me at “hello” with this product – the packaging is flirty and adorable without being saccharine, and the actual wand is somewhat small (great size for small purses or traveling!). It only took a few swipes to adjust to the shorter wand applicator, and then it was smooth sailing. Do good things come in small packages? I couldn’t really say – this product also has its pitfalls. I prefer a strong, one-swipe-and-I’m-GORGEOUS mascara. Sadly, Lulu Lash Crème fell a bit short in this department. It took me about twice my normal “mascara time” to get the look I was going for. A full day’s work and errands later, my eyes were somewhat smudged. I can’t blame this entirely on the mascara – it is allergy season here in the Midwest – but I expected more. I would recommend this product for a light, easy, casual look that has “impromptu brunch” or “I slept in accidentally and had to apply my mascara on the subway” written all over it.
Note: For any DeLush lady who likes to meticulously apply mascara in many, separate swipes, this is the product for you! I kept applying, and applying, and it never got goopy or clumpy. No tarantula eyes! Huzzah!

Review: Lash Control Mascara
What They Say: "An innovative, squeezable mascara package which allows you to continuously regulate the desired amount of mascara product on the brush.
The built in wiper sleeve at the mouth of the mascara tube is easily manipulated.... Now your brush can be BOTH AN APPLICATOR AND LASH SEPARATOR.
STOP SCRAPING IT OFF OR WIPING WITH A TISSUE. JUST SQUEEZE. ITS [sic] THAT SIMPLE.
The mascara comes with a fitted, snap-down vinyl "baggie" for added protection inside your make-up bag. The extra inch of distance provided by the flexible wiper offers another barrier to air and foreign particle contact with the formula which make the mascara perform better and for a longer period of time.
The LashControl™ wiper sleeve and container are manufactured by a major supplier to the cosmetics industry. This innovative system has been in development for more than 4 years and has been successfully tested for functionality, loss-of-volume shelf life and durability.
The FORMULA: We have an exclusive arrangement with a nationwide supplier of mascara formulae. Our promotional packages contain a Conditioning and Lengthening formula called ULTRA LONG AND SILKY in a rich natural black color. We are sure you will love this mascara which is carefully blended and contains organic ingredients including Chamomile flower extract, ginko biloba extract and ginseng root extract among others."
Melissa's DeLush Downlow: First of all, you can't help being a little intrigued by the tube. My husband walked by my desk last night where I had it set out for this review and stopped short asking "WHAT is THIS?" It's different, this is obvious. But is it good?
Oh, yes.
I wanted to be sure I wasn't just caught up in the whole novelty of the thing. But honestly, this mascara is excellent. It doesn't clump, builds body and a little length, and doesn't feel hard and crusty no matter how many layers you apply. Oh, and it stays put pretty well, too.
But what about that squeegee-like wiper inside the tube? Well, here's the thing. I can tell that it actually helps eliminate excess just from the wand passing through it in general. True, you can squeeze it and theoretically it removes even more so that you can use the brush to separate lashes without added buildup of product. I was skeptical, because I couldn't really see a difference when I just pulled out the wand normally or when I used the wiper, no matter how hard I looked.
However, if you squeeze the tube and sort of twirl the wand out of it, then apply it to your lashes, you will see that you get no visible added mascara on your lashes. I think the reason it's hard to see a difference is because in general there isn't a ton of product on the wand to begin with because there is some cleaning of the brush normally without squeezing the tube, which is what helps eliminate clumps.
My conclusion is that this isn't just a gimmick product; it actually works, and works well. Unfortunately, it only comes in black at the moment, but they say they're working on new formulas so hopefully that will include color ranges as well.
Retail Price: $18.00 each, with small price breaks for multiple orders (available currently only through lashcontrol.com)

Blinc Mascara: New Formulation
What They Say: "Blinc's Kiss Me is the world’s first mascara innovation to form tiny water-resistant tubes around your lashes that stay on better than waterproof mascaras yet come off easily without the need for a makeup remover. Kiss Me mascara is not an oil-based paint like traditional mascaras, which means it cannot smudge, run, clump or flake into your eyes - making it ideal for people with sensitive eyes and those that wear contacts. The area around your eye is most susceptible to wrinkling. Kiss Me is safer since it does not require harsh makeup removers or any rubbing around that sensitive part of your face. These unique patented features make Kiss Me a revelation for your makeup bag that will help keep you looking radiant and younger for longer."
Jen's Experience: You may recall that I've actually reviewed Blinc's Kiss Me Mascara previously. I've been using it off and on for the past year, sometimes alone, sometimes over their fabulous lash primer, and -- when I'm really trying to glam out -- over a super lengthening mascara such as Urban Decay Skyscraper. The previous Blinc mascara formula was great for work, but was less dramatic than others I've tried for a night out on the town.
Blinc's new formula is even better than their previous formula. The black is blacker; the fattening of the lashes is more noticable. And it's still the most wearable mascara that I have. I tend to rub my eyes a lot, especially when I sit in front of a computer all day. With Blinc's mascara, I can rub my eyes but the mascara doesn't budge. Yet, when I wash my face at night, the little tubes of mascara come right off onto my washcloth.
This is truly an innovation in mascara. Next time you hit Sephora, look for the new packaging in the metal magenta tube. I recommend this for anyone who has trouble wearing mascara, or anyone looking for a new every day mascara that looks great for work or the shopping mall.

Review: Bibo Full Effect Mascara
What They Say: "Enhance lashes in every way with this new, all-in-one formula. It curls, lengthens, thickens and defines with no smudging, no clumping.
* Panthenol thickens & lenghthens lashes.
* Vitamin A and wheat proteins moisturize and condition.
* Building mascara allows for a natural to more intense application."
Melissa's DeLush Downlow: This is a nice-sized mascara with a super-sleek casing. But how does it WEAR? Although it doesn't claim to be waterproof, it stays very well with virtually NO clumping or smudging. It also gives a slight curl to the lashes. It goes on incredibly evenly with no clumping as well. As far as the thickening and lengthening? This formula DEFINITELY adds believable length which is buildable, and it also adds volume to the lashes with incredible separation. As far as I'm concerned? A practically perfect mascara.
