What They Say: "Our pearls offer intense, radiant color for a variety of captivating looks. Wear them wet for a more dramatic look, or dry for a soft shimmering glow. They can take your look from subtle and barely there to shimmering knockout glam! TINte's pearls can be used as an eyeshadow, eyeliner, highlighter, blush and bronzer or underneath your favorite TINte lip gloss. There are no limits on the way to use them."
Melissa's DeLush Downlow: I wasn't surprised that this looked amazing as a shadow, both wet and dry. It's incredibly fine and very smooth. What I didn't expect was how subtly it highlighted my cheekbones when smoothed on lightly with my fingertip or how pretty it looked under clear lipgloss as a sheer wash of color. (Of course, there are a few shades you wouldn't want to use on your lips!) Keep in mind that used this way, you may find it less long-wearing than some lip colors. I'm sure this can vary depending on the type of gloss you use. On eyes it wears fairly well, but isn't completely crease-resistant.

What They Say: "7 tins - all true color and coverage without shimmers. Our creamy, silky texture is enhanced with Shea Butter and Vitamin enriched minerals, and makes for a soft succulent smooch, and our flavor and scent assure you won't be FORGOTTEN!
With our lip color, you won't even need a liner with the rich hues that come in this tin. The silky formula, flavor and shine keep the lips full of moisture, glaze over your pout for a sophisticated color."
Melissa's DeLush Downlow: Well, aside from the kind of rambling description they give, I still do like this stuff. But there are a few things that don't quite match the product's description.
First of all, I would describe this as more of a gloss than a lip color. Well...yes, it does have some color. But it's actually quite sheer, and the texture is one you'd probably expect in a tin. It's soft and only a little bit sticky, but very moisturizing and comfortable.
Also, while the color is pretty and lasts for a nice while, it is much more like a tinted balm or sheer gloss. As far as the idea of using a lip liner with it? I likely wouldn't want to anyway, unless perhaps it were one of the new ones made just for underneath glosses. It actually does retain its line quite well on the lip on its own, but don't purchase this thinking you're going to get lipstick-like coverage.
As long as you know what you're getting ahead of time, you will probably like these tins of shiny (and did I mention DELICIOUS?) colors. They really are pretty, comfortable and longer-lasting than you might think. I would just suggest that TINte perhaps alter their description a bit to make it more accurate.

What They Say: "All our flavored lip shines all have shimmer and a high shine look. A sweet treat for your lips, with multi-moisturizing and nourishing properties along with sexy shine! Give your lips the pleasure of being pampered! Enriched with shea butter, these shimmers all have such great tastes you'll want to eat them up. Or he will."
Melissa's DeLush Downlow: I don't know why, but seeing the fun-shaped bottle kind of made me wonder about its quality, thinking it might just be a "cutesy" gloss like those that cater to very young girls and have little substance. Well, I was wrong. It's very moisturizing and comfortable, has a pretty shine and slight shimmer (a sheen, not a glitter) that lasts even a while after it feels like the gloss may have worn off, and does indeed have the added benefit of truly tasty flavor.
The colors are fairly sheer (I tried the Haute Chocolate and it wasn't nearly as dark as it appears on their website, so don't necessarily count on the colors to be that dark), and it lasts several hours. It doesn't claim to be super long-lasting, but it's got decent staying power for a gloss if you don't have a habit of licking your lips a lot.
The only thing I would mention is that when you take the sponge applicator from the bottle it can sometimes be a little bit "goopy" (I have a feeling you guys know what I'm trying to say here), but not messy and I don't think it would be a problem that would be bothersome. Though I'm not sure, with the bottle shape, how easy it would be to get the last bit of gloss out at the end.
