Fall Product Review: Pop Beauty Pop Up Glow

popbeautypopupglow.jpgWhat They Say: "What it is: A sparkly, lustrous, cream-to-powder allover glow.

What it is formulated to do: Imparts a luminous glow to eyes, cheeks, lips, and body. Scented with watermelon extract.

To use: Dab onto lids, cheeks, and lips using your fingertips. Glide straight from the stick over the body and blend. Can also be used as a base under your favorite shadow."

Melissa's DeLush Downlow: What a wonderful multi-purpose product! And it does smell amazing, too. I was worried that this might look greasy or shiny on my skin after a while, but it didn't. It blends sheer and is easily buildable. It comes in three shades: Melon (a sheer watermelon pink), Mocha (tan sheen) and Sunny (light yellow gold highlighting sheen). I found Melon has been perfect for me as a cheek color. I like using the Mocha on my eyelids for an eye-brightening look (I have noticed some minimal creasing though), and the Sunny as (obviously) a straight-up highlighter for corners of eyes, tops of cheekbones, etc. On cheeks, I think Sunny would work best for medium to darker skin tones, and Tan and Melon should look pretty on most skin tones.

Easy-to-use, long-wearing, and with just enough sparkly sheen to glow but not be too obvious, this is a thoroughly impressive all-over color in my book.

Retail Price: $19.00 (Sephora.com, or UK readers can go directly to popbeauty.com, though at press time these aren't available yet on their home site)
