Blinc Mascara: New Formulation

What They Say: "Blinc's Kiss Me is the world’s first mascara innovation to form tiny water-resistant tubes around your lashes that stay on better than waterproof mascaras yet come off easily without the need for a makeup remover. Kiss Me mascara is not an oil-based paint like traditional mascaras, which means it cannot smudge, run, clump or flake into your eyes - making it ideal for people with sensitive eyes and those that wear contacts. The area around your eye is most susceptible to wrinkling. Kiss Me is safer since it does not require harsh makeup removers or any rubbing around that sensitive part of your face. These unique patented features make Kiss Me a revelation for your makeup bag that will help keep you looking radiant and younger for longer."

Jen's Experience: You may recall that I've actually reviewed Blinc's Kiss Me Mascara previously. I've been using it off and on for the past year, sometimes alone, sometimes over their fabulous lash primer, and -- when I'm really trying to glam out -- over a super lengthening mascara such as Urban Decay Skyscraper. The previous Blinc mascara formula was great for work, but was less dramatic than others I've tried for a night out on the town.

Blinc's new formula is even better than their previous formula. The black is blacker; the fattening of the lashes is more noticable. And it's still the most wearable mascara that I have. I tend to rub my eyes a lot, especially when I sit in front of a computer all day. With Blinc's mascara, I can rub my eyes but the mascara doesn't budge. Yet, when I wash my face at night, the little tubes of mascara come right off onto my washcloth.

This is truly an innovation in mascara. Next time you hit Sephora, look for the new packaging in the metal magenta tube. I recommend this for anyone who has trouble wearing mascara, or anyone looking for a new every day mascara that looks great for work or the shopping mall.

Blinc Kiss Me Eyeliner

What They Say: "Kiss Me is the world’s first eyeliner invented to form an intense water-resistant layer of color on your skin that solves all of the problems associated with traditional eyeliners. However, to really understand Kiss Me, you must clear your mind of everything you know and have heard about eyeliners or inferior imitation concepts.

First, it is important to know that Kiss Me Eyeliner is not a cosmetic paint like most liquid eyeliners, and therefore cannot act like them. This means no fading, smudging, clumping, running and most importantly, no flaking into your eyes, making it ideal for those with sensitive eyes as well as contact lens wearers. Did you know that most eyeliner sensitivities occur because of gradual flaking into the eye?

Brush on Kiss Me like a traditional eyeliner. Its precision brush makes it as easy as using a pencil. After about one minute, the layer of color will set on your skin. The eyeliner is very tenacious, so you don't have to worry about it. Whether your daily activities take you from the office, to your workout and then out to dinner, Kiss Me Eyeliner will look as good in the evening as it did when you first applied it in the morning.

No eye makeup remover required! Kiss Me Eyeliner only requires a combination water and slight pressure and the color layers will effortlessly slide off…you will actually see them in your hand.  Keep in mind that it must be a combination of water & pressure to remove, not one or the other. Pressure alone will not do it, and water alone will not do it.  However, water and pressure combined, like when you are taking a shower, will make the color layers gently slide right off, leaving no tint or residue behind. This is a lot healthier for your eyes since there is no buildup on your skin over time. And since Kiss Me does not require harmful eye makeup removers, it is also healthier for your entire eye area since you are not rubbing the part of your face that is most susceptible to wrinkling. In addition, Kiss Me does not penetrate your skin, unlike most liquid eyeliners. You will be happy to discover that only Kiss Me Eyeliner gives you the best of both worlds…the hold that you have always wanted and the ease-of-removal that you have always wished for."

Jen's Experience:  I am absolutely in love with Blinc's Kiss Me Mascara, so I was thrilled to get an opportunity to try their Kiss Me Eyeliner, which works very much like their mascara.  I have never been a big fan of eyeliner.  It's messy, hard to apply, too dramatic for me for everyday purposes and yet wearing it out to a smoky bar means that I am constantly rubbing my eyes and getting the eyeliner everywhere, including into my contacts.

Well, I might just be wearing eyeliner more now.  This eyeliner stays right where I put it, no matter how long I am out.  Shocking, right?  It doesn't budge until I wash my face and scrub a little bit to remove it.  It never irritates my contacts, never smears and smudges.  It just stays put and gives me a totally glam look for a night on the town.

This is a liquid eyeliner, so it look me a few tries to perfect my application technique.  The first time I wore it I looked like Cleopatra, but the effect is much more subtle as I get better at applying it.  I will likely go out and get the brown eyeliner, because I think the black is just a little too dramatic for most purposes, particularly with my light hair and complexion.

From someone who has never liked eyeliner, this product is fantastic -- absolutely groundbreaking.  If you have steered away from eyeliner in the past, or even if you're already a fan, this is a product that you need to pick up.

Blinc Kiss Me Mascara: The Review

As many of you know, I have been on the search for the perfect mascara for months now.  Generally what happens is that the mascara irritates my eyes, my eyes start watering or getting itchy, and then I respond by rubbing them until I look like a scared raccoon.  Blinc's Kiss Me Mascara was recommended by two of our readers, and so I just had to try it!

What They Say: "Blinc’s Kiss Me is the original mascara invented to form tiny, water-resistant “tubes” around your lashes giving them volume and length. Since Kiss Me is not an oil-based paint, it cannot clump, smudge, run or flake – even if you cry or rub your eyes. Only when you are ready, the tiny “tubes’ will effortlessly slide off your lashes into your hand with the combination of warm water and gentle fingertip pressure.

Kiss Me is ideal for those with sensitive eyes, contact lens wearers, performers and active people in search of mascara whose look, hold and ease of removal is without compromise. Whether your daily activities take you from the office, to your workout and then out to dinner, Kiss Me mascara will look as radiant in the evening as it did when you first applied it in the morning."

Jen's Experience:  I am truly amazed.  I finally have a mascara that I love.   Blinc's mascara is so vastly different from any other product on the market.  When I put it on, it completely coats my lashes with no trouble, but it doesn't clump up and give the spider leg effect.   The part that really stuns me is that it doesn't run or flake.  At all.  When I wear it to work, there's no football-player smudges underneath my eyes by lunch time.  In fact, when I take a bath late at night and I rinse my face off with a washcloth, all the little tubes that have been coating my eyelashes come right off and are on my washcloth.  This is the only mascara I've ever had that is anywhere near my lashes after 14 hours.  That's why Blinc Kiss Me Mascara is the first mascara that I am rating as Totally DeLush!
